Hello! My name is Frog. Don't ask me why I'm not frogkin, but my name is Frog, I don't know. /silly

If you're coming from my main blog:

Yup, this is the "super secret" otherkin account of @tadpoles-and-daydreams. I decided to make a separate account and blog for dragonkin and dragon work rambles, since... well, to be honest I just wanted to separate my blog for witchcraft writing, tarot, etc. from this. This is a more personal blog in which I mostly reblog and post random little memes and tidbits, heavy UPG, dragon work, and what the hell does it look/feel like finding out your soul is draconic anyway?

And just in case: if you're coming from my main blog and are unfamiliar with any of the shit I'm talking about here in terms of otherkinity, dragonkin, being a dragon- please feel free to send in asks. I plan on writing more in-depth in a bigger post about what it is, what it's like, how I found out about it, etc. etc. but that will take a lot of time and energy that I currently don't have. Further down, though, I give the best TL;DR I can!

This is where I plan to blog about my experiences when it comes to working with dragons, and fucking being one apparently. I want a safe space to write about my experiences, no matter how much I change. I feel like I've only dipped my toes into a vast ocean, a whole new aspect of my identity and my craft. I decided that I wanted to be able to write completely transparently about it- fears, mistakes, flaws and all- without it reflecting majorly on my main blog/my professionalism as a tarot reader who's just starting out.

So expect it all; the funny, the cool as fuck, the ranty posts, everything. This is just as much a tumblr blog as it is a journal, for me. I heavily value transparency, and that's something I can't be in public as an otherkin.

So, I've got a very long rant/opinion here and Idk really know how to say this without coming off kinda bad but I'm gonna say it anyways. I agree with the fact that the seventeen tag has been kinda dry lately on most fanfic places, but it's really only in the smut area. It's the sane way with other groups too I feel like. All of the nice little innocent tags are boomin to this day and thats completely fine. I think the smut tag is dry tho bc lately I feel like a few social issues (like sexualizing people and disrespecting them and their identity) have crossed over into kpop and have been ?blown out of proportion? Lately there's been a rampage of people who like to say that writing smut about someone is disgusting and is dehumanizing because people want to assume that it would make the idols uncomfortable which could equate to some morality issues on how you are reducing someone only to their body without their consent and a bunch of stuff like that. It kind of pisses me off bc this is fiction. About grown adults. Clamping down on horny people who simp over hot asian men isn't going to solve the issues we face in real life. I think a shit ton is wrong with the world we currently live in, and deciding to come after something that isn't even real bothers me. Like what does that actually accomplish. But yeah, I think thats a reason why smut has been dying down. I mean, on youtube almost every video about unpopular opinions, or things they dont like about kpop will include something about shipping idols in fanfics. And then everyone in the comment section will talk about how its all fine and dandy in moderation, but once people start writing smut it's crossing the idols personal boundaries. It's something I've been seeing a lot more often and I think people who are interested in writing smut are being turned away from it bc we've gotten to a point where people are being called disgusting for having fantasies.

Hi Anon, thank you for sending in this Ask.

I want to preface this by saying: when I write or talk about Mingyu and Wonwoo fucking on my blog, it is a fantasy. I am not speculating about what the real Mingyu and Wonwoo might be like in bed. I am imagining the versions of Mingyu and Wonwoo that I have created in my head, that exist only in my stories. None of it is real. I understand that this can be a blurry boundary for some people. But for me, the separation between fantasy and reality is well-defined. Now, on to your Ask!

You’ve hit the nail on the head with this one. You’ve also touched on many of the issues I have been struggling with myself as of late. It’s difficult to argue about morals since everyone has a different set of values, as well as different comfort levels. Some people think real person fiction (RPF) is a gross invasion of privacy. Others are fine with it. And others don’t care one way or another. There is no single answer; I can only offer my answer. Which means, of course, people are welcome to disagree with it, or parts of it.

In this essay (LOL But forreal: this is an essay), I will be sharing my experience in the k-pop fanfic community from 2014 to present, the etiquette I personally abide by as a reader and writer of RPF, as well as my stance on RPF in general.

I started reading and posting fanfics back in 2014/2015 on a website called AsianFanfics (AFF). Obviously, no one on that site had a problem with RPF, since AFF is a platform made specifically for sharing stories about Asian celebrities. For many years, I read and enjoyed RPF with zero guilt. I scribbled away by myself in my own corner of fandom and curated my own content. I didn’t interact much with other fans, readers, or writers. I didn’t have a Twitter, and I only used tumblr to reblog memes. As a result, I’ve been able to avoid a lot of anti-shipping discourse, as well as purity and cancel culture. I had no idea there were so many negative opinions about RPF. It wasn’t until I became active on the subreddit r/Fanfiction last year that I learned about all the discourse surrounding RPF.

This newfound ‘awareness’ does make me feel guilty at times—but only because after mulling this over, I still don’t think this is something to feel guilty about.

Here’s what I remember, first and foremost, when I create and consume RPF: fanfics and my favourite ships are fictional, and fiction is fantasy. This is basic etiquette when it comes to RPF, and most people in the k-pop fandom understand this. Delusional fans exist, of course, but they are not representative of the entire k-pop community.

Another point of etiquette is to keep fanfics within fandom spaces. I would never push my fics into celebrities’ faces, or go around claiming that my fanfics are accurate representations of a k-idol’s life or personality, in any way, shape, or form. I would also discourage directing ship-related questions to official accounts, or bringing them up during fansigns or other face-to-face interactions; I believe that in these instances, shipping does have the potential to strain real-life relationships.

So with basic etiquette out of the way, let me share my approach to RPF in general.

As much as we like to think we know our favourite celebrities, we really don’t. All we see is their public persona. And this public persona is intentionally controlled, managed, and curated by a team of people: directors, tabloids, editors, makeup artists, publicists, etc. How “real” are these celebrities? We are so distanced from them that they may as well be fictional.

I draw from the public persona that idols project, and I work them into my own writing. But at the end of the day, these personalities are my own interpretation. My interpretation is probably nothing like an idol’s actual personality. I just use the “public persona/character” that idols portray as inspiration for my own stories, which are set in wildly different universes.

More than anything, I think of k-pop idols as “actors” in my fic. You know how when you write an original novel, you scroll through Google images, looking for the perfect person to portray your original character? RPF is literally that, except you might build upon pre-existing dynamics and personalities.

When it comes to explicit fanfiction, two main concerns are prevalent: one of consent, and one of sexualisation.

If we argue against explicit RPF due to lack of consent, we should be willing to apply the same lens to all explicit works. How do we know that the creator of a movie, book, series, etc., is okay with us using their characters in our stories, explicit or not? We don’t. Perhaps some creators encourage fanfiction, but don’t want their lovingly crafted characters engaging in sexual acts or experiencing trauma. We just don’t know. I feel this line is even more blurred when we talk about characters from movies or TV series.

Let’s take Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, as portrayed by Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan, from the Captain America movies as an example. I am willing to bet that when people consume and create explicit fanfiction about Steve and Bucky, they are imagining Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan in their heads. I doubt many people are imagining the 2D cartoon versions of Steve and Bucky, even though they’re technically the exact same characters. Why? Well, it could be because movies are more readily and easily consumed than comics, and so people are unfamiliar with comic book Steve and Bucky. But it might also be because fans find Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan attractive. Is this really any different from RPF, where fic authors make up everything about a celebrity’s life?

When readers and writers of fanfic talk about how hot Steve Rogers or Bucky Barnes is, those comments are about Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan’s bodies. When reading explicit stories, fans are going to picture Chris and Sebastian’s bodies in their head, doing sexual things. Can we say, “Well, it’s not really you, Chris/Sebastian”, when in a way, it is?

The reality is, people are going to thirst over celebrities, regardless of whether or not explicit fanfiction exists. They��re going to post thirst tweets on Twitter. They’re going to talk to friends and strangers online about how hot [insert celebrity name here] is. They’re going to fantasize about dating and having sex with their favourite celebrity. Or, as it is in my case, they’re going to make up stories in their heads about their favourite idols dating and banging each other. People are going to do all of this without ‘getting consent’ from the celebrity. Cracking down upon and shaming writers of RPF isn’t going to change any of that.

To be honest, I’m not sure why people think it is disgusting to imagine sexual scenarios about real people. It is okay and normal to have these kinds of fantasies. I suppose the alternative is to fantasise about having sex with cartoon characters instead? It’s a very binary way of thinking to say that if you imagine/write real people in explicit scenarios, you are immediately sexualising, dehumanising, or objectifying them. There is more to dehumanisation than writing smut about our favourite celebrities. For one thing, you can love someone and appreciate all parts of them, and still want to fuck their brains out. And generally, fanfics come from a place of love—love that is not only sexual in nature.

Is it the sharing aspect inherent to fanfiction? The possibility that a celebrity might stumble upon explicit works about them? The chances are very low, I think, of the k-pop idols I enjoy writing about coming across my English fics. But I also believe in curating your own content, and that applies to celebrities too. Perhaps a celebrity should not go searching for fanfics about themselves. And of course, people should not show celebrities their fanfics, unless invited.

Another argument I hear against (explicit) RPF is, “How would you feel if someone wrote fanfiction about you?” First off, I don’t like this argument because there’s a difference between someone who decides to be a public figure versus someone who decides to remain a regular private citizen. Celebrities should and do know what they’re getting into when they choose their occupation. (This is not to say, “They are celebrities; sexualise them all you want because that’s what they signed up for.” Here, I am only acknowledging that people might have sexual fantasies about celebrities they are attracted to. Presumably, celebrities are cognizant of this.)

If someone (whose existence I am not even aware of, mind you) decides they want to write explicit fanfiction of me in some tiny corner of the Internet, I wouldn’t care so long as: (1) they don’t shove it into my face, and (2) they don’t harass me and ask invasive questions about my personal life and relationships. It’s not hurting me or negatively affecting my life, so it wouldn’t even register as a blip on my radar. When fanfiction remains within its appropriate spaces, it is largely harmless.

Now, if a k-pop idol were to ask their fans to stop writing fanfiction about them, would I? Yes, I would. However, I can’t imagine that happening. Judging by the number of ‘sexy’ concepts, fanservice moments, and variety shows such as ‘We Got Married’, I am certain that k-pop idols realise they are the stars of many fantasies—some of which are explicit in nature. Considering the prevalence of shipping in the k-pop industry, I would argue that shipping is subtly encouraged.

It’s sad that so many talented writers are shamed out of fandom, or feel that k-pop cannot be the medium through which they tell their stories, or explore their sexuality, or cope with trauma, or simply have fun. Professional works and Hollywood love their RPF—readers and writers of fanfics should be able to, as well.

As you said Anon, “clamping down on horny people who simp over hot asian men isn't going to solve the issues we face in real life” (this is a lovely sentence, by the way). The kind of person who dehumanises another and reduces them to a sexual object will do so some other way, if not via fanfiction. I don’t think the issue of fetishisation can be fixed simply by telling people not to write explicit RPF. In my experience, people who read and write RPF are more respectful and thoughtful about these things than the general public. We’ve all seen the general public say highly sexual things about celebrities in the media and to their faces, or tag celebrities in their thirst tweets. Are these things less invasive than fanfiction? Personally, I don’t think so. And in my opinion, there are more pressing and damaging issues in stan culture than fanfic.

In conclusion, I don’t think there is anything wrong with creating and consuming RPF, both explicit and non-explicit so long as we:

Remember we are writing fiction

Keep RPF within its appropriate space, and

Do not harass celebrities about their personal lives and relationships

RPF is not for everyone. There may be people who enjoy RPF, but draw the line at explicit stories. This is fine. Everyone has their own personal preferences. What is not fine, however, is attacking people for creating things you don’t like. I’m not sure what kind of moral crusade people are on and what they hope to achieve by shaming writers of RPF, explicit or otherwise. Ultimately, fic authors are writing a fantasy. It’s not real; no one is being hurt. I think it’s important for people to curate their own content, and AO3 makes it very easy to filter out explicit works and unwanted tags.

Maybe this is me trying to justify my own participation in explicit RPF—I don’t know. What I do know is that I love k-pop, and fandom is an important part of my media and entertainment experience. I adore the k-pop idols I write about, and I just want to imagine them being happy and getting lots of love and orgasms. Let a bitch be horny, goddamn…

Hey guys, Xeno drama ((you know, about the banner and hate and whatnot)) below the cut if you don’t wanna see it!!!

@mrkamabo--co Hello! I don’t know if you’re ever going to see this, but. It’s here.

First of all, yes, it’s me! lesbian-octoling, rhi-draws-things, whatever you wanna call me. I’m making this because I’ve heard through a friend of mine that I trust that you are a relatively good person, and while I don’t agree with everything you’ve done, I figured i might as well try to clear things up between us.

First off-

I’m sorry.

This is a 100% genuine, formal apology. I am sorry your medical issues are acting up, I understand completely. I had and almost identical use (albeit with chemical imbalances making me throw up, instead of breathing/heart issues, but both caused by stress), so I get it.

I’m not here to stress you further. In fact, I’m here to try and resolve the issue. I don’t want you to feel the way you do, and I don’t want to start more drama. I should know, i’ve been receiving nasty shit for a while. If you don’t want to read this- that’s okay! Don’t stress yourself, dude.

I just feel like this is important, because we never actually talked- and lack of communication often leads to violence.

But there are a few thing I wanted to address- first and foremost, the ‘xeno free zone’ banner, and the tags.

Ah, I hope you don’t mind me going off a bit, but I did want to say things!!!

Muzzles: Inkling beaks, IRL, are very long! they just look flat because.. well, squids are long! But if you put that into something shaped like a human head, they need a bit more room to stretch out.

Claws: they’re not actually claws, they’re hooks! Just like real deep-sea squids have hooks made of chitin that can retract back into their tentacles, which is why i made them like that. As you can see when they go back into heir squid forms, their arms and legs ARE just evolved tentacles!

Here’s a cool example of the hooks, as compared to some of my squid hands:

‘goat noses’: This is because… it’s not a nose! A real squid breathes through it’s siphon, which is one, large hole. That’s why their nose is like that- it’s not two nostrils, it’s one hole, but flattened down so it’s not just a big ol’ hole in their face. If it was, things might get into it, like dirt or bugs or.. i dunno.

Digigrades: admittedly, this is just because it’s fun, and theres no reason they shouldn’t. Any other similarities to cats is just… coincidental, really, as cats and squids have a lot of similarities (liking the sun, chasing lights, etc).

Eyes: Actually, this was a mistake. When i FIRST started getting into splatoon i was like ‘wait squids have horizontal pupils right’ and only found out later that no.. that’s octopi! But oh well, it was a bit late, eh? live and learn.

I’m not saying its fully scientifically accurate- hell, course it’s not! But its more biologically accurate than having them being made of ink. Mostly, I just think it’s fun, cus I’m a budding biologist and I think it’s cool to explore these concepts.

Ok! Thats all I gotta say. I just wanted a chance to explain myself, s’all! As for the banner itself… while it may have been joking in nature, I do think it was a bit rude. Kinda like swinging a bat at a hornet’s nest, yeah..? Like you said- “but yknow tumblr be tumblr, and i honestly expected This™”… you gotta watch out what you say sometimes. You could’ve made it more obvious that you were joking- putting ‘XENO FREE ZONE’ with bit red X’s and ‘feel free to reblog :)’ just has.. a very mean tone to it, and it rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, regardless of your intentions. It really didn’t sound like a joke, to a lot of people, including me.

Though, maybe, we’re all just a bit wary- I’ve been receiving asks telling me to- quite literally- kill myself, multiple times, over this. I also know several friends who have gotten the same messages (a few of which don't even draw xeno, but simply because they are my friends). I think me (and other xeno artists, though I cannot speak for them) have a right to be wary, when we’re so used to being bashed. A lot of people are scared, and it doesn’t make what some people said right, I’m just… telling you why that massive backlash happened.

And by ‘massive backlash’…. if I’m being honest- and I don’t mean to make it sound trivial- a lot of the responses to those posts weren’t truly mean. Some people sent a clown meme, a lot of people responded with ‘why are you hating us, were just having fun’. A few were pretty mean, yes, but I could count them on one hand. These were light hearted in nature, and nothing like some of the truly nasty things that could’ve been said. You wouldn’t believe the things I’ve received in my inbox…

I think a lot of this could’ve been avoided if your post right after had simply been an apology. Instead of playing the victim card, simply say ‘ah, that last post was a joke- i sincerely apologize, and I might’ve worded it poorly’. That’s it. And it could have been avoided if you said, in the tags ‘this is a joke post don't take it seriously’. But instead, you went on the criticize xeno aspects. Not saying you’re wrong, but pointing out why so many people took it the wrong way.

But.. the main thing I wanted to address was this post.

I.. can’t say I’m in the right, but I can’t say you are, either. I probably shouldn’t have made that post- but it was meant more as an off-hand joke. I didn’t mention you at all, as I didn’t want anyone to hate on you. It’s more of a running joke for my blog of ‘sexy tartar’, which is why it was funny enough that I brought it up.

#can’t feel safe#when i put an opinion out there#its easy.. to ignore a post yknow…? It’s also easy not to make a joke like that. Again- maybe you intended it as a joke, but it’s like one of those shitty april fools pranks where you tell somebody something bad happened. We got scared. Doesn’t make it right of us, but it doesn’t make it right of you, either.

But the ONLY thing I’m truly angry about- if you saying that ‘you, a minor, don’t feel safe because you’re being shat on by an adult’. The reason this makes me mad is because… I’m 18. Barely. And you’re 17. I’m… not even a full year older than you. I’m still in high school. The way you worded it made it sound like i’m a 32 year old getting off on sending hate to a 13 year old- and that’s not even close to the case. That is not cool, dude.

Anyway. Sorry about that, though I hope you can see why I’m.. unhappy with the wording. I’m trying to solve things here, not make them worse, ha…

And.. yes, I did block you. But not so you wouldn’t find out. You can still see my blog; i know this. I blocked you because I’ve been getting hate anons for the past few weeks, and I can’t be too careful with who I block. I’m tired of people telling me im ‘ruining the fandom’, so I tend to block at leisure, or when I have suspicion. And a big ‘ANTI XENO’ banner is reasonable suspicion, yes…?

Again, I apologize for that post, but i was not doing to to spite you, just because I found it funny. I didn’t contribute to the spreading of hate to you in any way- I am very anti-hate messaging, and very pro ‘block and ignore if you don’t like them’. Which is.. what I was trying to do, but I didn’t want to leave us on that sour note. This is a Dragon Age multimuse blog. The characters here are either canons or ocs based in the Dragon Age universe. I do rp crossover with characters outside the universe, but probably won't be making many AUs. My main blog is a Solas rp blog (theharellan) and I am more active there!

Since this is my less active blog, I'll only be roleplaying with mutuals. I don't practise character exclusivity, however, and will roleplay with multiples of a single canon or variations of a PC. At best, I have default Inquisitors I'll fall back on when we need one and mains.

Banter, para, multi-para, novella are all possible. I prefer to reserve longer threads for plotted or intense interactions, and shorter threads for more casual roleplays b/c otherwise there's way too much navel gazing. Shorter threads are also much more likely to get timely replies.

I don't format beyond small text, and will roleplay with you regardless of whether you do or don't format yourself. I will use icons for some characters and not for others, so I will obviously rp whether or not you use icons.

I tag general triggers and will tag others upon request. My format is: #(trigger)+tw. For example a blood trigger warning would be: #blood tw.

For threads/writing where Merrill's blood magic is referenced or written about I will tag "#blood magic tw" and/or "#self harm tw" if self-harm occurs or is referenced.

I will also tag content warnings for things that include, for example, character death (like so: #character death cw).

I will not tag the word "queer" as "#q slur". I am uncomfortable with tagging a word I use to describe myself as a slur, among other reasons. If the word makes you uncomfortable, you can put "*queer" into Tumblr Savior and it will blacklist posts containing the word. Or simply don't follow, whichever makes you feel most comfortable.

I absolutely detest one-liners and as such won’t follow people who love them, as we would not match. I like to illustrate my posts with an icon at the bottom but I might not use one at all with some partners/replies. I don’t mind if you use icons or not.

The only formatting I do to my text is using bold and italics when adequate. I can’t explain this topic very well but the idea is that, for us to ship our characters, they must have a dynamic that can be used as a base and we should either plot it or be in tune. Sometimes people just go *squeal* over a pairing at the same time! I would not object to plotting a ship from a time the characters are not that fond of each other, but that would require the same feeling of companionship between the two of us as writers as other ships do.

When I ship with someone, it applies only to their interpretation of that character and not with another. I see no sense in doing it differently! In fact, if we get to that stage, I would rather be exclusives with you and rp only with your portrayal of the character in question in the sense of developing this dynamic over different situations, verses, etc.

General Information

Hi, call me Autumn. I’m 25+, have been rping for 15+ years on and off with 10 years experience roleplaying on Tumblr, and prefer they/them or she/her pronouns. I have a discord that is available on request for general ooc conversation and plotting, all you have to do is ask for it.

I’ve been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and a chronic social phobia, so typically I’m pretty shy and awkward starting off when you first talk to me. Due to my mental illness I get stressed out pretty easily over things and at times will take a while to get around to replies and starters, so please don’t think that any slowness on my part means that I’m not interested in interacting with you!

Just because it needs to be said, Mun =/= Muse ; Muse =/= Mun. I play a character who is pretty moralistically grey and may do or hint at doing problematic things at times. This does NOT mean I support those same viewpoints.

Anders is a super complex character who’s actions ultimately result in something so powerful they send a good chunk of the world into turmoil. I want to stress that Anders’ plot to blow up the Kirkwall Chantry was a terrible thing done by a person who felt as though they had no other option when every other peaceful measure he attempted failed. Could there have been other ways of solving the problem? Maybe. Did anyone actually listen? No. Regardless it was the only a matter of time before the powder keg that was Kirkwall’s tensions between Mages and Templars blew up given that you find out in the final act that Meredith had already written to the Divine to request permission to enact the Right of Annulment in advanced.

Either way, I’ve adore Anders as a character ever since DAO Awakening so whatever hate or arguments you might see fit to send me isn’t going to change my mind on how I feel about him. Naturally I’m fine with him suffering people’s vitriol in character, but I won’t tolerate receiving that kind of behavior out of character.

I generally use Pearl from Steven Universe as an out of character face claim. I’ll be using Toby Regbo from his appearance in Reign as Ander’s IRL FC.

On Following

I’m usually too nervous to follow people first, due to anxiety issues, but if I do follow you first it means I definitely want to try writing with you! Usually I’ll follow back Dragon Age canons unless something about your blog turns me off for some reason. Anyways, the same typically goes for OCs with reasonable Dragon Age verses that I feel could allow for interactions with Anders.

I’m going to be more picky about non-DA canons ( unless I already have an AU for their source material ), even if they have an DA themed verse or two– so please don’t feel bad if I don’t end up following you back. :c

Threads and Replies

On average I write anywhere between one and a half to two paragraphs per reply, though I have been known to write four+ depending on how inspired I am. If this for some reason bothers you or if you’re simply looking for super casual, one line replies with or without dialog every thread, I’d advise you not to follow me.

That IS NOT to say that I’m against short replies though! I can usually work well with two or three sentences so long as I feel like I can actually reply to it and in cases where I can’t, I usually ask my partners to add more if possible instead of outright dropping the thread. TBH, I just feel like it’s super discouraging to write a paragraph or two and only get a single sentence with or without dialog back in return. :c

I am notoriously slow when it comes to replies and am prone to dropping threads once I feel too overwhelmed. If you suspect that I’ve dropped your thread and would like to continue it, feel free to contact me over my inbox / tumblr im or via skype / discord if you have it.

If I follow you first or follow back, feel free to reply to any of my opens and memes I reblog or contact me via my inbox / tumblr im if you have any ideas, but please note that my ‘like for starter’ posts are for mutuals only.

Feel more than welcome to reply to asks and continue the conversation if you like what I answered with, I only ask that in doing so you start a new thread with a link back to the original ask and not reblog the ask itself.

I don’t care if you use icons or not. Sometimes I don’t. Icons aren’t an indicator of quality to me. Typically icons will accompany most short posts given I have one that fits the thread. It is possible that I will avoid attaching icons to longer, multi para threads depending on how I feel.

NSFW Threads

Both mun and muse are over the age of 18, which leaves everything open to possible NSFW sexually based threads. Personally, I like writing smut, but I prefer to ship chemistry more than anything and will not do pointless nsfw threads unless I’ve rp’d and spoken with you ooc for a while.

I WILL NOT write sexually themed or exceedingly violent / gore-y threads with individuals under the age of 18. I’m generally not going to follow anyone younger than 18 just because I don’t really feel comfortable with following those who are more than ten years younger than me even on my personal blog. I check for ages and if I find out you’ve lied just to write smut at any point I will not hesitate to block you.

Relationships / Shipping

I’m generally open to the idea of pre-established original character relationships (semi or whole friendships / crushes / enemies / etc) between characters as they can make interactions considerably easier for me, so feel free to present any ideas if you’d also like to go that route via my inbox / tumblr im or skype / discord if you have it!

If you want to go the route of an established OC relationship outside of an obvious casual connection, please be aware that I will ask you to dm me via tumblr im or discord, since I find it easier to develop relationships with other characters while having a chance to occasionally talk ooc with those involved. As a plus, it makes rp'ing with you much more comfortable for me.

I mostly ship Anders with M!Hawke and F!Hawke, but am open to other canon characters as well so long as it’s workable. Obviously, I’m also willing to develop romantic ships with OCs granted I find them interesting and if I feel like there’s good chemistry! You also get big bonus points if you’re a rivalmance Hawke because I’m super weak for that dysfunctional shit.

Triggers

This blog is generally not safe for work, just to be clear. There are times where it may contain triggers that I will try my best to tag in a coherent manner, but please be aware that I will not always tag things unless a mutual requires it their ooc page. I by default tag anything related to NSFW situations, anything related to abusive scenario, and anything else involving blood.

I have no triggers, personally, but I do have things that make me uncomfortable. These include topics related to cheating / infidelity and hypersexualizations. I would appreciate if partners would consider tagging content related to these, but it’s not necessary.

Thread Tracker is my lifeline. Here’s where to check if I’ve replied or not. I’m pretty good about adding things to it and checking regularly, please don’t pester me too much (once a week is acceptable). I can be slow, I’m working, and I have other RP blogs to keep up with. Please be patient, I tend to reply to a thread once a day at most.

The only smut I’ll be writing that’s not with Lasair is if he’s in Westworld. Since he doesn’t see hosts as people, even if he’s in a committed relationship with Lasair he sees no reason why fucking a host would be an issue.

I am as selective as the muse is. Some muses are more... receptive and take to others easily. Others do not.

Yuun is one of the latter - he has no qualms when it comes to flings and friends-with-benefits, but he is choosier when it comes to being involved in serious romantic relationships.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW?

If it begins to get suggestive of sexual situations (whether it’s language, bare skin, etc.), then I consider it NSFW. If it gets to a point where I have to ask myself if I should cut the post or not (if it is on tumblr or another public forum) due to the content, then it is probably NSFW.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?

Current ship in canon verse is with @aequusinlustris. It and a sort-of ship with @vahermagei are really the only serious ships.

The rest of the ships present are usually entertained in chats or memes and I consider them hypothetical or small at best, as I prefer to have some basis in RP and character development when it comes to long term shipping.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?

Yes - As in, do NOT force ships onto me. Things that do not count as forcing a ship onto me include; sending in your muse for shippy memes (I enjoy doing them for ships regardless of whether I actually ship it currently or not) or your muse coming to have feelings for mine.

but also No - I prefer natural progression in RP and sometimes relationships just happen to veer in that direction over time. I do not think it is necessary to ask me in the case that your muse begins to have feelings for mine and confesses.

If my muse begins to have feelings for yours, I will usually not say anything until such time comes where they might inevitably confess to yours but I will inform you before any sort of move is made if no discussion on shipping has been made already.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?:

I do not do it often and it is less a preference as to whether I like to do it often or not, but whether or not my muse actually wants to.

ARE YOU MULTISHIP?:

Yes. All my ships are in separate verses for the most part (out of coincidence, as they already started in separate AU’s).

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?

More-or-less, I suppose? I’m not obsessed but I expect reciprocation? I would like to know that the emotional energy I am investing into a ship is appreciated and also to receive the same amount of enthusiasm back.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?:

Current fandom? FF14? I ship Y’shtola with Cid, but that’s about it if we are talking strictly canon characters and not muses.

FINALLY, HOW DOES ONE SHIP WITH YOU?:

Interact with me regularly. Talk to me and have your muse interact with mine. It’s a slow burn if you want a serious ship.

If you just want something for a little bit of entertainment now and again, then throw me your ideas and headcanons. We can come up with an AU or smth maybe.

I do not personally care about maintaining any sort of pretense that all my ships are equal. They are not - you will get back as much as you are investing into it. I will place importance on ships that are longstanding, well developed, and active.

Selective and mutuals only. As much as I’d like to rp with everyone, I simply cannot. That being said if you’ve got a Westworld character or verse I’ll most likely follow back!

Due to many instances of personal blogs not knowing or bothering to learn basic rp etiquette, my general rule of thumb is to soft block personal blogs who follow me. Smut and Shipping Rules:

I am 21+ and of legal age.

Logan is single ship. He will ship romantically only with flame-of-ostwick’s Lasair Trevelyan. He’s with her regardless of verse.

The only smut I’ll be writing that’s not with Lasair is if it’s with someone he knows is a host. Since he doesn’t see hosts as people, even if he’s in a committed relationship with Lasair he sees no reason why fucking a host would be an issue.
